HEALTH SERVICES

Minnesota State Colleges and Universities offer varied levels of health services to students. A systemwide accident and illness insurance plan is available to MnSCU students, both foreign students and domestic students.

The Student Affairs Division of the MnSCU System Office provides technical assistance on best practices, policy, and legal compliance for health services. Dr. Steven Frantz is the System Director who coordinates these services.

Insurance for International Students
Each college and university should adopt the following policy for international students:
"All international students and visiting scholars engaged in educational activities are required to purchase the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities international student accident and illness insurance plan, unless they can provide written verification that their government or sponsoring agency accepts full responsibility for any medical claims that might occur."
